Collecting information

When you place an order on the Style Direct website then we will need to collect information from you.  You will be asked to enter your name, address, email address, telephone number and credit or debit card information.

Why we need this information

The information that we collect from you may be used in several ways.

Firstly it is needed to process your transaction. This information will not be sold, exchanged, transferred or given to any other company under any circumstances without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased products requested by you as a customer.

Similarly as part of our continual drive to improve the range of products on our website we use information and feedback that we receive from you.  We may also use some of your information to personalize your experience with Style Direct.

Protecting your information

It is vitally important to us that your personal information remains secure when you place an order with Style Direct.  For this reason we offer the use of a secure server.  All sensitive/credit information you supply to us is transmitted via SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway provider’s database where it can only be accessed by those authorised with special access rights to such systems, who are required to keep the information confidential.  Once a transaction is complete your personal information (credit or debit card details etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser if allowed by you.  These enable the sites or service providers systems to recognise your browser and capture and memorise certain information.  Cookies are used to help Style Direct to remember and process the items in your shopping basket.
